Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona

Spousal Support

My fiance was divorced in arizona and we plan to be married this year. His Exwife is threating to take him back to court to modify her spousal support due to the fact we are now a double income family. i.e. using my salary to double his income. Is this possible? What can we do to protect my salary?

Thank you for your help.

Thank you for your inquiry.

Generally speaking, only the paying person's income is considered for spousal maintenance or child support purposes; the paying person's spouse's income is not considered.
