Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona

My spouse and I are getting a divorce, her lawyer is asking for support for her,she is a certified medical assistent, got fired from one job and left her last job, she has been getting unempolyment sence october of 2009, and now is getting unemopyment and getting her schooling paid for to get an RN degree, she has education and job skills to provide for here self, why would I have to pay support?

She is probably asking under a "roll the dice" theory. The worst she can do is get nothing, whereas if she does not ask.......
