Your spouse cannot be present in the mediation. The goal of the mediation is for you and the mother to try to reach agreements between yourselves (with the mediator's assistance) regarding your children. If your case proceeds to trial (e.g. if you don't settle), your wife can appear as a witness on your behalf.
