Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona

Trust and divorce decrees

When my husband got a divorce he gave practically every asset to his ex wife, he followd what he had in his Irrevocable trust. Now I would be left with nothing should he predecease me.. He doesnt know if the trust which he can change would overide what is in the divorce decree. We cannot afford to take out any more life insurance at age 62, its prohibitally expensive. Question can he change the trust and give me part of the income , although the divorce decree states that the ex wife will get all the income...

Re: Trust and divorce decrees

I would have to review the trust and the divorce decree in order to give an opinion on what can and cannot be done. Please contact my office if you would like to set up a consultation.
