Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona

verbal agreement

Divorce September 1998,state of Arizona. I am living in Colorado. Before divorce I signed over all properties to ex.

Before divorce became final we had a verbal agreement he would pay me $10,000, when he had sold any of the properties, which was the plan so he could pay me the money.

This was not put into the divorce decree.

We are on speaking terms, when I ask about the money he has escuses from economy is bad, etc. I have asked him to make payments,or sign over one of the properties to me, something to get this resloved. He continueally agrees with me that I am due this, but no action on his part.

Re: verbal agreement

Generally speaking if you had oral agreement and this other agreement was not in the Divorce Decree you are going to have a lot of trouble trying to collect this money. Good luck
