Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona
My wife contacted a paralegal to help divide the assests, bills, and custody of our children. We are supposed to sign papers tomorrow she says the signature is just to verify we recieved the information. I am not sure if I should sign the papers because I think we need more time to think about getting a divorce.
What do we have to do to stop the process from going any further?

I would need to know more. FIRST, you cannot be forced to sign anything. Ask to get a copy in advance, and come review it with us. SECOND, there is a document you can file at Court ("Petition for COnciliation") which places a "pause" on any divorce proceedings. Once I know more about your specific situation, I could provide a specific strategy.
