Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona

My Wife and I have had discussions with our Daughter about taking custody of our 6month old Grandson, there is no father on the birth certificate, and frankly we are not sure who the father is. If she agrees to sign over custody, do we need to find the father , and what rights do we have as Grandparents?

That is alot to cover by email. We can certainly help you consider and then pursue your options for either Guardianship, In Loco Parentis Custody, or Adoption. Each method has advantages and disadvantages.

One of our attorneys can explain the issues and procedures better in person. As you can imagine, there is too much to cover via email. We offer free 1/2 hour consultations, in which we can discuss your matter in detail.

Please call us directly to discuss the specifics of your matter, or contact my assistant Gloria or my paralegal Jennifer to schedule your free 1/2 hour consultation. Please ask for attorney Carlie Owsley Walker, who handles most of our Grandparents Custody matters.
