me and my wife have 2 kids 6 and 2yo can the kids be split up one with each of us?

If you and your wife agree that a split arrangement is in your kids' best interests, then the court is likely to accept that agreement; however, if you disagree about whether the kids should be split, it is extremely unlikely that the judge will do so.
