Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona
what my wife is trying to prove
Me and my wife were living together in AZ in our home, on her name though. She started ill-treating me after I got laid-off from my job.It was very hard to find a job in Phoenix,AZ. She told me to go to NY and find work there, as I cannot live with her without a job, according to her.I moved to NY temporarily for work.In last about 4 months she never called me, despite knowing my number. When I called her,she tells me,''I dont know why you even called me'', and hang up the phone on me.I stopped calling her thinking she would call me after she cools down. So,no communication beween us for last 3 months. Last week when I called her she did not talk to me nicely. Also told me,that she started returning my mail as well back to post office. She tells me nor she wants me to come back home, niether she is interested to see me.I am wodering what she is upto ? What should I do to protect my legal rights ?

You may want to file for divorce. Arizona is a no-fault, community property state. You may be entitled to an equitable division of assets.
I would be happy to discuss the issues more in-depth with you by phone or in-person. There is too much to cover via e-mail though I have provided you with the major points. Call me for a free hour consultation if you would like to discuss the matter in more detail.

Re: what my wife is trying to prove
I cannot advise you about your relationship (because that is not my area of expertise). However, I think your wife is trying to send you a message (but I am not sure you want to receive it).
In terms of your legal rights, you may wish to consult with an experienced matrimonial attorney.
I practice in NYC and Long Island.
