Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona

My wife and i have had our 13 year old cousin living and going to school with us for the last year. It has recently come to our knowledge that our cousin has not wanted to see his dad for the reason that his dad and brother both have a pot problem. Our cousin gave his father an ultimatum to ethier stop the drugs or he didnt want to see his till he was clean. His father told him no and got very upset with him and now charlie is scared that his father might try to come to our house and try to take him back. What are the op-tions for my wife and i to keep him until we can attempt to get custody of him?

It seems you may ALREADY be in a good position to seek custody. I would need to know about Mom also, though.

We can certainly help you consider and then pursue your options.

One of our attorneys can explain the issues and procedures better in person. As you can imagine, there is too much to cover via email. We offer free 1/2 hour consultations, in which we can discuss your matter in detail.

Please call us directly to discuss the specifics of your matter, or contact my assistant Gloria or my paralegal Jennifer to schedule your free 1/2 hour consultation
