can i win custdy of my 2 year old

hi i have been taking care of my 2 year old son with out his father he signed the brith papers but his not been around in 2 year. i now live in oregon and ive been here for almost 6 months i lived in arziona my son was bron there well i have to go to arizona to get full custdy??

No, you will not have to go to Arizona to get full custdy. As a matter of law, you already have full custody. Simply because the father singed the birth papers does not give him any automatic legal right of custody, not even visitation. By operation of law, you as the birth mother, having physical custody of the child, also have full legal custody right now. And this will continue until and unless HE takes legal action to change the presently-exisiting legal situation. (And were he to do so, he would have to do it here in Oregon. He can't make you come back to AZ. So, for the moment, there is no need for you to do anything. Rest easy and sleep well.
