Legal Question in Medical Leave in Arizona

can i be falsy accused and be fired while taking medical leave. I am currently on medical leave and my employer denied me pay, there excuse is that they cannot pay me because they are investigating my files and until then they will pay me. I this legal to do? please help I can't eat, I can't sleep and can not fuction because of this situation. I worked there for eleven years my job was to help people get training and then jobs. Vocational training and placement. My job title is a casemanger. I was let go yesterday. I was tretened not to do anything about this case and all of my friends from work have been told not to contact me or they will be fired. I can believe I'm being treated like a criminal.
