Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Arizona

ex boyfriend

I dont know if this is the correct catagory. My question is I recently stopped seeing a man that during the time of our relationship infected me with

a veneral disease(uncurable)which could possibly cause

health problems in the future. I know this person infected me as I was seeing no one else at the time, when we met he denied having any std's. Do I have any

legal recourse or am I basically out of luck, would like some advice before consulting an attorney.

Re: ex boyfriend

You could have a cause of action against the former boyfriend for assault, assault/battery, deliberate infliction of emotional distress [depending upon whether or not he know he was an infectious carrier at the time] and other possible remedies.

Consult a personal injury lawyer in your town. Initial interviews/case evaluations are usually done at no cost - ask first.
