divorce loan

I was married 6 mo during that time we took out an equity loan on his house to pay both our bills off.I left because of abuse.I have been paying him half of the loan every month. I now own my own house. He is saying he is going to be late on the loan or not pay at all so my credit could be ruined or worse they could come after my house.Is there something I can do I can not afford to pay the whole loan. Thank you

Contact a divorce lawyer in your town. You may have to return to court for a protective order or indemnity from his actions. In the meantime make sure the monthly payments are made - you may have to make both of yours for a month or two. Seek legal counsel now to protect your rights.
