Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Arizona

My lesbian partner and I bought a house together in 2007. I put down the entire $40K downpayment, thinking we would be in this house at least 10-15 years. In 2010, she abandons the relationship, what civil legal grounds do I have to get $20K from her (our mortgage situation is totally upside down). I just feel that because she decided to leave, she should also have to lose the same amount of money that I will be losing.
