Legal Question in Immigration Law in Arizona
Becoming a US citizen
If an immigrant holding a United States green card marries a United States citizen; does that automatically make the immigrant a United States citizen?? How about if the immigrant no longer has a valid green card and marries??

Re: Becoming a US citizen
if you do not have a green card, it means you can now apply for one. Or, if the one you have is invalid for some reaon, it means you can usually apply for a new one.
It does not automatically confer US citizenship upon you, however. There are other requirements for that.
