Communist question in I-485 form
I am writing to ask if you could offer me legal assistance about question 6 of part 3 in I-485 form. This question is
about the membership of communist party. If I checked yes for this question, do I need to apply for wavier concurrently(by filing form I-601, OR can I just put a statement into the package, saying that the membership was involuntary and I am not a threat to the US, OR do I have to hire an attorney to do this for me?

Re: Communist question in I-485 form
Normally if membership was involuntary and done for non political purposes, such as attending school, you don't need a waiver. But, you should explain your membership on a separate sheet. Let me know if you have additional questions: [email protected]
