Legal Question in Immigration Law in Arizona

Expired Permanent resident card

My card CR6 classification expired in 2003. I just relized this beingg that I was never asked to produce it, just my sin #. I have been working since and just lost my job. The new employer needed verification. That's when I realized it was no good. What do I need to file. I am still married, 7 years and a daughter both us citizens. I have been paying taxes every year while working but found out I am out of status. I need to return to work ASAP since we just bought a house and I am the sole provider. What forms do I need to file?

Re: Expired Permanent resident card

Hi,

This can be serious. You are almost 4 years past the expiration of your conditional card.

It may be possible to file for the removal of conditions now, we some reasonable explanation. I am afraid that chances might be slim for them to approve and issue a new GC. You may be forced to file for a new adjustment petition if your file will be closed.

Sincerely,
