fiancee took off on my sponsership
My fiancee that I,k-1 sponsered arrived september 17,2006 in Las vegas Nevada. She requested to visit a aunt Oct 20,2006 to prepair for our wedding in Washington state. She finally called October 29,2006 and stated she was not going to return to me. what do I do to contact the authorities and remove my liabilities and what rights do I have?

You must send them written notice of withdrawal via certified mail. It must clearly state that you wish to withdraw your petition, citing any receipt /case numbers and both of your complete legal names. YOu must also state that you are withdrawing your affidavit of support. This is essential as it would impact your ability to sponsor others in the future.
