Legal Question in Immigration Law in Arizona
Green Card from H1B visa.
Hi,
I am in the USA for almost 5 yrs now. Recently I got the Job and now company is ready to file for my GC. How much my chances are to receive GC as around 1 yr and couple of months left on my 6 yr H1 period. I am going to get a Labor certificate that is already approved so really specking I have to finish only 2 steps and I heard that I can process both step simultaneously and how much will that take?
Thanks

Re: Green Card from H1B visa.
The route you are taking can take up to three years. You will need to maintain your underlying nonimmigrant status until your AOS is filed and your EAD is approved. You may be eligible for a seventh year extension of your underlying status if necessary. Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
