Legal Question in Immigration Law in Arizona
My husband filed an I130 for me in Nov 2009, had an interview scheduled in Feb, but was unable to attend in person and his lawyer attended on his behalf but did not have a G-28 on file so the interview was terminated and the petition denied as an abandonment. The lawyer filed a motion to reopen petition in may 2010, to date to response has been received, what can i do?

It sounds like your attorney is doing what they are supposed to be doing by filng the Motion to Reopen. Those can take up to a year though to process. Your other option is to refile the I-130 and adjustment of status application.
