Legal Question in Immigration Law in Arizona
how to become a legal resident?
I entered the country legally as a 17 year old back in 1993. i underestand that when submiting the paperwork to to legalize my status i am asked if i entered the country legally. how do i prove that? i remember the customs official tearing a page from my passport. i am afraid he might have kept the only proof i had in my hands to show how i entered the U.S.

Hi There is a way to request from the State Department to issue areplacement I-94. This is the white Card that was issued to you when you entered if you entered legally. Once you obtain that I-94 card replacement, you could show that you entered legally.
