Farideh, in order for me to respond adequately, I will need to know what types of misdemeanors, what state. I presume you are talking about applying for citizenship, yes? You may be eligible depending on the type and the year these misdemeanors were turned into convictions. Usually, the USCIS requires at least 5 years of good moral character by the time an interview is granted. I would be better able to assist you if I can learn what the convictions are.
