Legal Question in Immigration Law in Arizona

Can a person on L2, who is on vacation currently, if requested by employer can that person work for that employer on L2 or what else he require to start work for same employer.

I am not clear if you are referring to someone with an EAD based upon a spouse with an L1A or B visa, or another situation.
