Legal Question in Immigration Law in Arizona
visitor visa
I am a US citizen. My friend would like to visit me here in the US from Peru. I was going to write an invitation letter, but i have heard that it can hurt her chances of getting a visa. What are the easiest or best way (steps) for her to get a visitors visa to the US?

Re: visitor visa
Dear Inquirer:
Visitor visa issuance is within the discretion of the Consul. An invitation letter may hurt if the consul believes you are potentially romantically involved and attempting to circumvent the fiancee visa process.
