Legal Question in Insurance Law in Arizona
auto accident
Hello,
I was in an auto accident. The other persons fault. Minor injury
780.00 auto damage. Medical $2200.00. My insurance covered the medical and now the other persons insurance is offering me $2200.00.
Is there a certain rule of thumb amount? Would $5000.00 be too much?
Thank You

Re: auto accident
Sounds low to me, but of course you tell us no details on the injuries, medical treatment, lost earnings if any, length of treatment.
Sounds like minor injury with full recovery after short period. Any permanent injury? If not, maybe counter at $7500. An attorney could get you more, but lots of water under the bridge, so see what they come up to. I'll bet $2200 is not their best offer.
Good luck. Make sure you are medically stationary.
