Legal Question in Insurance Law in Arizona

Life Insurance Problem and Liability in car accident

My ex wife was killed in a car accident in December with my 2 kids in the car. She fell asleep at the wheel and rolled the car over. I actually have 3 questions. First, I have filed the life insurance claim through my ex's employer ( my kids are named the beneficiaries). They have still not submitted it to the insurance company. The forms and death certificate were overnighted to them almost a month ago. Is there anything I can do to speed them up because they arent telling me why they are waiting and usually do not return my phone calls? Second,Can I get a gaurdianship over the funds to make up for things like no child support, etc. ( I have not received child support from her in 10 years)? Third, She was driving her fathers car and HIS auto insurance has given my kids a small settlement as they received minor injuries. Is there any liability from my ex-wifes auto policy that would also be owed to my children?

Re: Life Insurance Problem and Liability in car accident

If I am not mistaken you previously submitted this matter on this forum, and received advice to get a free consultation with our office, in light of the many issues. Additional information was given.

Yes, we know exactly what to do, in that we handle injury cases and estate and guardianship/conservatorship cases as well. Our consultation is free, so the fee is certainly not objectionable. If you are not willing to have a free consultation so all the facts can be better addressed, and a professional opinion with advice as to what to do, I do not have anything more to offer. If you want a competent, complete answer you will have to get in a forum where you can give complete facts. Otherwise, advice may not be well-founded for you and your children. 480.835.1500 if you change your mind. Otherwise, best of luck on your own and I hope all turns out well for you. An anwswer to all issues, including those you have not thought of, cannot be given here. This is too important a case IMO.
