Legal Question in Intellectual Property in Arizona
Making a replica nascar helmet
I want to sell replica nascar helmet but I dont want to run into any legal issue later on. What would be the legal way to do it?
Who actually owns the design of the helmet? The nascar driver? If I change the design of the helmet a little, would I be ok from being potentially caught for patent infridgement? Also, each helmet has logo of the sponsoring company. If I wanna make this legal, do I need to pay a licensing fee to the sponsoring company for putting their name on the helmet?
Thanks.
Crystal

I'd need to see what you're wanting to use, but you probably don't need to pay to use the helmet but the logos depend on various factors. Feel free to contact me directly. dwnancellc.com
