I have a question about trading on line, I'll be appreciated if anyone could help me. My father has a business in China, he's trying to sell software through internet to Arizona, could he own a website in US that can download software? Could he e-marketing in US? Does he need to pay import tax to US? what required for a foreigh online business to quanlified to do these things.

Yes, he can establish a US-based Web server for downloads.

No worry on import taxes; his business will, however, generate US-source income. This will be governed by the US-China income tax treaty.
