Legal Question in Employment Law in Arizona
Ok, so my father is an employee at a "plant (flowers) nursery", they sell wholesale and on some occasion to the public. Ok so he works ridiculous hours that sometimes range from 80-100 hrs. per week. Heres the problem, they dont pay him overtime! I tried looking up labor laws and I understand there are numerous exemptions to this law but i could not find where his occupation would fit into any of those categories. Therefore my question is, Should he be getting paid overtime?

Thank you very much for the inquiry. Whether your father is entitled to overtime is going to depend on his primary duties. That is, what is it he spends most of his time doing at the nursery?
