my question relates to my work and being harrassed.i work on a all mexican concrete crew,except me and i am caucasion.
For the past 2 or 3 weeks these guys including the forman would all grab me and take off my pants.then it got to where they were grabbing my privates. i told them to stop but i was out numbered. the other day they did this but took a picture of my private parts and showed people .i am getting afraid to go to work but at the present time i cant afford to quite my job.Could you please let me know what i can do about these actions taken against me.

A pattern of behavior that creates a "hostile" or uncomfortable work environment, based on sexual and/or racial or ethnic differences is a violation of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. In your case, it sounds like the behaviors may be both inappropriate sexually and directed at you because of your race. Under this law, the first thing you need to do is report the behavior to give the company a chance to correct and enforce a behavior change. If you are uncomfortable reporting to your direct supervisor for some reason, you may report to any supervisor, or you can even have someone else - a friend - report it for you, or you can write a letter to the home office of the company. But somehow you must inform the company about how you are being treated. Retaliation (loss of job or other action taken because you reported) is against the law under the Civil Rights Act. If you are truly afraid to report, then call the local Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) office in Phoenix and report it to them. If someone DOES takes retaliatory measures against you, you will also need to call the EEOC. If you need any further assistance, please don't hesitate to contact me.
