Legal Question in Employment Law in Arizona
Is there a limit to the amount of hours an employer can make you work in Arizona? My husband is often required to work an 8 hour day, an 8 hour night, an 8 hour day, and another 8 hour night without more than an hour or two break in between each shift. He has no time to sleep and must drive to and from his job site. Please help.

Thank you for the question. Unfortunately, there is no general law governing hours of work in Arizona. There are federal laws setting forth maximum working hours for commercial drivers, but that is a pretty narrow exception.
