Legal Question in Employment Law in Arizona

Hi, I am a pharmacist. 3 years ago i signed a contract with walgreens. My sign on bonus was for 20,000 dollars. I worked for the for 2.25 years. They terminated me in december. it is now may. They sent me a bill in april for 23,000 dollars that they think i owe them. In the contract it said 3 years or equivilent hours. I worked overtime so much. that it equals three. years. What should i do? I also didnt even recieve as much as they think i got in the beginning. I only got 12,000 after taxes and everything.

I am sorry to hear that Walgreens did not work out for you. I need to review your agreement and see if I can help you avoid the bill that Walgreens sent you. Will you give us a call so that we can sit down, go over the agreement and see if we can help you out. I will need you to gather your W-2s for the years which you worked for them, the contract, the termination letter and see what is going on. This is not the kind of thing that you should post in a public forum. Give Stephanie Coulter of my office a call at 602 462 1004 tomorrow.
