Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Arizona

An acquaintance want to use my home address to receive mail and a "pension" check that he says can not be sent to a direct deposit at a bank. He recently lost his home and will be travelling in search of work as a chemical engineer. Is their a danger in allowing this to take place.

You can receive his mail as a favor to him, so long you are not enabling him to commit a fraud on his creditors or evade taxes. You should be sure that he picks up his mail on a timely basis and that you are not responsible for anything but keeping it in a box or place for him, that you don't look to see what the mail is or who it is from. If he uses your address as his, then his credit report will show that he is residing at your address, so that may be a concern to you at some time later.
