In arizona, if a landlord refuses to return a rental property security deposit, but also fails to give an itemized invoice for charges, and refuses to perform a walkthrough inspection with tenant, should the tenant automatically receive twice the security deposit being held.

Nothing is automatic. She should take photos of the condition of the premises before she vacates and make a demand for return of her deposit.
