Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Arizona
Coming out of a residential lease
I have just signed a residential lease on Nov 19 2007. The lease would be in effect only from dec 1 2007. Can I come out our lease now, since I have not moved in and am I liable for any damages?

Re: Coming out of a residential lease
The answer depends on the terms of the lease. In most cases the lease agreement has break lease provisions. If you cancel the lease now, you may be liable for the lost rent for the landlord and any damages specified under the terms of the lease. To fully answer this question, I would need to know the terms of the lease.
