Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Arizona
landlord harassment
My landlord is having his attorney send me letters threatening to evict me for doing things that are not in any of the rules in the mobile home park where I live. Can I sue him for this in small claims court? If not, can I get an injunction against him to stop the harassment?

Re: landlord harassment
You should request copies of your lease & other paperwork you may have signed from the landlord. Review these documents closely with a trusted friend or someone from your church. You could hire an attorney to look it over with you. If the landlord and his attorney are making requests that are not part of these documents, you should respond in writing explaining why you do not feel you should be required to do what they demand. Mail your response to the landlord & attorney with return receipt mail, so you know they actually got the letter. Generally you would not be successful in bringing a claim for harassment in small claims court. If you continue to have problems, maybe it is time to look for a new place to live. If you have to consider getting an injunction against your landlord, it IS TIME to find a new place. GOOD LUCK
