Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Arizona

Lease Termination

If a lease is terminated and a final amount is paid, can the landlord request more money be paid at a later date? I wrote a letter with the final payment that stated payment in full and they cashed the check. They are now stating I was quoted a wrong amount and owe more than the original amount. Can they di this?
