Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Arizona
I leased a home in Arizona that was represented to have a water softner and it does but it does not work The property manager will not fix it. What are my options? I want to live here and i want the water softner fixed?

You should first look at your lease agreement and determine who is responsible for the maintenance of the water softner. If it is the landlord, then you can fix it and sue for reimbursement or deduct it from the rent due if it is done properly. Read the AZ Landlord and Tenant Act to learn how to properly deduct the expense from the rent, if it is appropriate to do so. You may find it easier to sue in small claims court.
