There are not specific statutes in Arizona about checks that bounce when paying rent. I would recommend you read over your lease, there may be something in the contract you signed. The landlord could consider a check that didn�t clear the equivalent of rent not being timely paid. If you show up with the full amount of rent in CASH, I would expect the landlord would be willing to work with you. Good Luck
