Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Arizona
My son recently recd notice that his house that he rents will be up for auction in May. He has a rental agreement until September. My question is after May 6th when the house is auctioned off will he still need to be obligated to pay rent to the property management co since their client will no longer be the owner of the house and he should be entitled to get back his deposit as well for he is not the one who broke the lease.

His rental agreement should be honored in full, after the sale, unless the buyer intends to occupy the premises and even then, the tenant has 90 days to leave. The tenant is still obligated to pay rent to the owner and the buyer is obligated to refund any deposits due under the lease agreement.
