Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Arizona
Can you get sued if your not on a lease? My ex landlord is trying to sue us for last months unpaid rent. She never came to maintnence the house and we havent been on a lease for three years everything we did came out of our own pockets. The house was trashed when we moved in and she never did anything to come and help out.

Yes, you could be sued for the last rent, however, you can bring a counterclaim against the landlord for the value of what you put into the house that was for the landlord's benefit.
