We live in a 4-plex, the property was sold without our knowledge, the previous landlord was in the middle of doing some work on our unit which hasn't been completed. The new landlord doesn't want to finish the jobs, and rent is due. What are our options?

Send written notice to the landlord of the promises and work performed by the previous landlord and that you expect the work to be completed by the new landlord. For allowed set-offs, look to your lease agreement.
