Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Arizona
My upstairs neighbors are loud 24/7. I work full time and my husband is in school full time. My landlord will not evict them because their family rents 4 units in our complex. We have filed many complaints and nothing happens. Do I have any tenant rights in this situation?

Go to any justice court nearby and look at the AZ Landlord Tenant Act, and you will find your rights. You can terminate your lease if the landlord fails to provide you with the "quiet enjoyment" of the premises. Check with the court about filing an action to terminate your lease, collect damages and move. Unfortunately, you can't force the landlord to make the neighbors move.
