I want to have a meeting with my sisters doctors. she wants me to do so. she signed the hipaa form. do they have to talk to me? if not what do we need to do? thank you

They should honor your sister's directive to give you access to her private medical information. However, they may not be willing to consult with you or take orders from you, requiring your sister to do so. If she is competent to do so, she should give you her durable medical/health care power of attorney. Then, you have the right to make decisions for her, if she wants you to do so.
