Should I use a malpractice attorney in the same state as the doctor?

I have received conflicting advice about selecting an attorney for an upcoming medical malpractice case. Should I select an attorney in the same state where the doctor practices or should I use an out of state attorney?

Can you advise me on how best to select an attorney to handle my malpractice case?

Just find an attorney who is experienced in medical malpractice. If the size of your case justifies it, an experienced attorney from virtually any state might be interested in helping you.
