Legal Question in Military Law in Arizona
military divorce
I married a marine, he is now in the process of divorcing me. He has put me in a significant amount of debt and is still receiving his BAH. He told me his staff Sargent took care of everything so that I will not be entitled to anything from him could that really happen?

Re: military divorce
No, your husband is still obligated to pay the debts that he incurred while you were married and may still be required to pay alimony or child support if applicable. Nothing your ex's staff sergeant can do will change that.
You should talk to an attorney about your situation and decide what the best way to proceed is. Please feel free to give us a call if you want to talk more about your case.
