Legal Question in Personal Injury in Arizona

Arista health plans

We were involved in an automobile accident. Our primary insurance (from work) has paid the bills, but now wants to be reimbursed by the other drivers insurance, which will reduce the amount that we will receive. The insurer is paying the policy limits because of seriousness of the injuries my husband sustained. Can they do this? What's Arista and how's that involved?

Re: Arista health plans

You need the services of an injury attorney who knows how to navigate through this. It will save you money. Some subrogation liens by health insurance are invalid, but an attorney would have to determine that. Also, the liens might be negotiable by the attorney as to amount. There is often the possibility of additional insurance. We have handled many cases where we uncovered more insurance for a recovery. Do not go further without speaking with a knowledgeable attorney. Be aware that most attorneys do not understand, unfortunately, the nuances of this situation and how to resolve it. It is complex. If you would like to speak to me without charge or obligation you can arrange that for after Jan 2 by calling 480.835.1500. More facts need to be known to solve this. I am confident something can be done.

Best regards.
