Legal Question in Personal Injury in Arizona
personal injury
I was in an accident, not my fault. The other person's insurance is paying all my bills. To date the medical bills total $6055.79. How much money should I ask for for pain and suffering? I had major back surgery 3 months prior which it irritated and burns on both wrists from my air bags leaving some scarrs. Her insurance told me they will contact me next month. They already paid for my car, which was totalled.

Get a good lawyer. The insurance company will low=ball your injuries. If an attorney promises you an amount, be suspicious and get it in writing.

You really should consult with an attorney on your case. It is sufficiently large and with scarring, you have permanent injury, and an attorney will be able to get you a much larger settlement than you can get on your own, and almost certainly you will end up with more in your pocket at the end of the case by hiring an attorney. You can visit our website at www.mcordova.com, but even if you don't hire us, you should hire an attorney. Best of Luck
