Legal Question in Personal Injury in Arizona
I had slippped and tore ligaments in my foot due to water and rocks onthe side walk at the apartments were I live at.
Do I have the rite to sue for lose wages and pain an suffering
1 Answer from Attorneys
Sure. An apartment complex owner and/or manager must keep common areas in a reasonable safe condition. OF course, they may argue that the danger was easily knowable by you and therefore avoidable. But if you success in having them found responsible some of the things you can ask for would include pain and suffering and possibly lost wages if you weren't able to work because of the injury suffered or recovering from surgery.
You may want to consider small claims court because you can do it yourself without an attorney and it would probably be cheaper.
Regardless, best of luck to you!
